Russia
Our Russian stones originate from the Mirny Sakha mine in the remote region of Yakutia, northeast Siberia, and Arkhangelsk, along the White Sea coast. While the mines have impacted the physical landscape, for the communities in these sparsely populated provinces, the mines provide crucial employment, creating a well-remunerated workforce that enjoys health care, pensions and housing benefits. The mines are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council and its operators report on the safety and responsible mining practices.
Canada
Our Canadian diamonds are sourced from two well-regarded mines: Diavik and Ekati. Diavik is reputed for its exceptional grades while Ekati is known for the premium gem quality diamonds it produces. But more than that, both mines have been audited by the Responsible Jewellery Council and are committed to ensuring the highest possible environmental and human rights standards. Each hires a workforce of local Aboriginal people and provides skilled apprenticeship schemes and scholarship funds.
South Africa
Diamonds sourced from Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho and Canada are often referred to as 'Botswana Sort', because they are brought to Botswana for sorting and sale. All of our Botswana Sort stones are from mines that adhere to internationally recognised labour and environmental standards. Revenue from Botswana's prosperous diamond industry has contributed greatly to the country's infrastructure, education and health care services. Its mines are committed to minimising their environmental impact and many sites are repurposed after use.
Lab Grown Diamonds
We source our lab grown diamonds from laboratories in China, India, Russia and the United States. Created under highly controlled conditions that mimic the Earth's atmosphere, lab grown diamonds possess the same physical, atomic and elemental properties as mined diamonds. Indistinguishable to the naked eye from mined diamonds, they possess the same sparkle and brilliance. Because no mining is required, lab grown diamonds are considered to be a responsible choice.
Recycled Precious Metals
Fairtrade Gold We can choose recycled metals to decrease the global demand for newly mined gold. This will diminish the environmentally and socially destructive effects of dirty gold and other metal mining practices.

Once extracted, a diamond is personalized with QR code using laser marking. This primary information about the stone is instantaneously recorded on blockchain and from then on can never be passed off. Every element of supply chain from miner to end owner makes an entry in the register via smartphone: extraction site, original color, place of cutting and setting, certification, transportation, right of ownership. With this QR Code your will have access to everywhere your diamond has been inlcuding who has cut, polished and set your diamond.
